It has produced & co-produced short films which are officially selected in many recognized International Film Festivals & achieved some awards also. It was established with the vision of captured moments of life as a film & work with plots that are more close to urban life, political & social conflicts. Tong-Ghor Talkies is interested to work in each & every genre. Tong-Ghor means a tiny shed based space. At Dhaka city most of the road side tea stalls are in Tong-Ghor. From there the name ‘Tong-Ghor Talkies’ came!
